You Can Help Yourself Get Out It is my opinion, having experienced depression for many years that the causes of depression range from biological ( chemical imbalance ), improper diet and exercise on a daily basis to negative thoughts, poor self esteem and fear (which keeps us stuck) as well as emotional, physical or psychological abuse or a combination of some or all of these.
