Dealing with the Anxiety of Being Married to a Law Enforcement Officer

My husband has been a corrections officer in a maximum security prison for most of our married life. With a little under fifteen years left to go before he retires, he still has a significant amount of time ahead of him to finish his career. Likewise, I still have quite a few years ahead of me to deal with kissing my husband goodbye every morning and sending him off to God Knows What during his workday. Although the world is a dangerous place and anything can happen to anyone at any time, a job in law enforcement has it’s own
