As soon as I open my eyes I know it’s going to be a bad day. My previous experiences with depression has taught me well. The first thing I notice is the soreness in my joints and muscles. “If you weren’t so fat, you wouldn’t hurt this much.” And, so, the internal monologue begins. I start making a list of the things that need to get done today. I know that its impossible to do everything on the list and my internal voice tells me I’m a failure. I walk downstairs and see the toys that weren’t picked
