Social Anxiety – A Personal Experience, and a Word to Young People – As a kid, I was very “quiet” and “shy”. I never spoke up in school unless asked, had few friends and was unable to trust any of them. I grew up with a sense that I wasn’t “allowed” to initiate a conversation, suggestion or topic of discussion.
