Postpartum depression is a term many people have heard – but few truly know what an impact it has on young mothers all over the world. Postpartum depression is a terrible mental illness that affects mothers post-childbirth, and often appears to strike quite suddenly. Both mothers and those close to the mothers need to be able to recognize the signs and symptoms of this debilitating illness, and get prompt medical treatment.
