Depression: My Battle

I was diagnosed with Dysthymia ( chronic depression) at the age of 13. Although it’s not something I enjoy talking about, I would like to share with everyone how much battling this can alter someone’s life. Firstly, I would like explain what this disease is. Chronic depression is diagnosed when a person feels low, or in a depressed mood most days over several weeks over the course of two or more years. It comes and goes, hence the word “chronic”. With me, the worst of the depression comes when something life changing happens. I was going through a rough time
